Updated : May 9, 2026

Ameesha Patel has just stirred up a massive debate in Bollywood with her recent, explosive comments about fake stardom. The actress took to social media to heavily criticize the growing PR culture and the younger generation of actresses in the film industry today.

In a series of strong posts, Ameesha stated that just doing a few average films and relying on publicity tactics does not make anyone a superstar. She openly slammed actresses who pay their PR teams to brand themselves as number one without actually delivering massive box office hits.

She wrote on X, "Most female actresses who haven’t even achieved one film in their career where even a single film of theirs has done even 200 cr plus at the box office are paying their PR teams to cal themselves nos 1 and nos 2?like really? Its 2026 and not 2000, Today 100 cr is nothing."

She proudly reminded everyone of her own track record, mentioning that she has delivered three of the biggest solo blockbusters as a heroine—Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Gadar 1, and Gadar 2. She added that her fake PR machinery might be weak, but her box office footfalls remain unmatched by today's standards.

Furthermore, Ameesha officially confirmed that Gadar 3 is definitely in the works with an even bigger script and scale. Setting the bar incredibly high, she confidently declared that 500 crores is just the minimum box office expectation for a massive brand like Gadar, leaving everyone talking about her bold and direct statements.
